23 days until I'm halfway done with college
30 days until Canada
54 days until camp
It's all going by so fast. It always has, but especially lately.
Especially as I mourn the loss of a man from our community, from a family, from a dear friend and roommate. Especially as I've lost so much energy and attention for certain subjects. Especially as I watch the days pass by, as I sleep and walk through them, and suddenly it's mid April, and while the trees were late to bloom, the semester is narrowing to a close.
And it's sad, to think of the end, because friends are leaving, studying abroad all over, or living elsewhere. To think that E1E will no longer be my beloved home and family here.
But I'm ready to say goodbye to this semester. I'm ready to throw it off, to step out if it and never look back. While I wouldn't trade (most of) it for anything else, it will be good to see it go.
So here's to hoping these next 23 days fly, however bittersweet the end might be.
