"You are making me knew"
This weekend we had a final prep retreat for Costa Rica! (We leave in 5 days...eep!)
There was worship, sticks drama, playing, spanish speaking, eating, and good quality fellowship with one another. This week is all about the last bits and pieces of preparing before we leave Friday morning!
During quiet time Saturday morning, I was reading Psalms (30-34). I found so many verses saying that we should not be afraid, and that God is our hiding place, our safe place, our comfort and protection.
I'll be the first to admit that I'm nervous about some of the things we will be doing in Costa Rica.
So my prayer is for God to be our strength, our voice, and our purpose.
May He speak through us, and even for us when we don't know the words to say.
And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Above is a pic of our dirty feet from running around/practicing games and dramas all morning, and the last is my team! (I'm the second to last in line)
A huge and heartfelt thank you to anyone of you who has helped me get to where I am, and for your thoughts and prayers for this trip. I can't wait to share with you when we return!
