christmas morning

I know I promised a video or a photo essay, but today was busy, so here's what I got for ya' :)

We woke up too early, opened our stockings, ate Cinnabons for breakfast (tradition!) finished opening gifts, went to church, lazed around for a little, and went to my grandparents house to eat/be merry with aunts/uncles/cousins. We even got a tiny bit of snow this morning! (Ok, it all melted by lunchtime, but it was so beautiful in the morning while we all sat around the tree, and walking into church)

As for the last two photos, the first one is a macro of a tiny ornament (slightly blurry, apologies), taken with one of a few iPhone camera lenses I got...so so fun. Another photo is of a photo...taken with the Instax camera I got (like a polaroid). The last photo is of a ring...I knew I was getting a ring, but it turns out that this ring (and my sister's) were made from my great grandmother's wedding rings...so special! 

Twas a good Christmas. I am so thankful for everyone and everything in my life (even work, even school work). God has given me so much. Jesus, thank you for coming along side us in this world, "fullness of God in helpless babe". Thank you for your grace, truth, and perfect incomprehensible love!
