cinnamon roll pancakes // a parody

In our attempts to be culinarily creative, my friend Rachel and I decided to give cinnamon roll pancakes a try. Keep in mind, this recipe originally serves 8 (hence it calling for eight teaspoons of baking powder, etc). However, we halved this, except baking powder, we kind of just added what we felt like adding (half as much as it called for).
That being said, we sort of improvised. The cinnamon filling separated, and came out in clumps, and when we flipped the pancake over, it all just melted/dissolved. So, improvising, we just mixed it with the batter to make hybrid cinnamon pancakes. Weird, but actually quite good. Also instead of cream cheese icing, we just made regular icing with powdered sugar and milk.

I linked the recipe above, I dare you to try it! Let me know if your attempts turn out any better than ours ;)
