Things That No One Tells You About Finishing College

1. You go for four years living with and near and among most of your closest friends, and you walk across a stage and get a piece of paper and say goodbye to some of those people indefinitely.

2. Just because you have a degree doesn't make you feel any more qualified for entering the workforce.

3. Real life is expensive. Like really expensive. It's likely that half of your income will go towards paying for an apartment- so, half of your work is just so you have a place to sleep.

4. Dream jobs aren't real. I mean, they're real, but they're rare. They exist for a very small percentage of graduates. The majority of us won't find it or get it, until way later on, if ever.

5. You change. Four years of college and life and becoming an adult will inevitable change you, but so much more than I can describe, so much more than anyone told me about.

6. It's sad. It's sad, and it hurts, and you might cry a lot.
