rest

Today was strangely enough a day for rest.

We were created to rest in the presence of God.

God desires for us to rest in Him.

This week has just been hitting where it hurts, and my devo last night talked about rest.

So today, I rested. Not literally (though I slept a little too late)

Tuesday/Thursday I have class from 8-9:30, work 10-12, and work at my other job 1-3. 

I decided to be more intentional with my time. I did a devo, I took the longer walk to work, I spent time outside reading and observing. And after just that, I am at peace.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

(Matthew 11:28)
