Sharing with you this scene I snapped on my way home from class the other day.

Earlier this week, on one of the gloomier days (though most were), I got a chance to take some photos (a rare occasion these days). Even though mostly everything was dead, there was so much beauty. 

What a metaphor-how even in death and darkness, God has made us beautiful.

I love this Christmas season. I love giving gifts, and putting my heart into them. I love Christmas carols, and Christmas lights, and traditions. It's such a beautiful and heart-warming time of year. 

This year, I've decided to do a "photo-essay" on my Christmas eve/Christmas morning :) So stay tuned!
